What is copywriting? This is a type of writing which used to get to get an audience to act. It is used in advertising and other forms of marketing.

But as the experience of different copywriters, achieving that is not simple. There are so many factors that influence the audience. Different formulas work for different goals, writing styles, and content types. To help you here I have chosen some best tips –

 

1.      The 4 C’s of copywriting- This is called the 4 C’s formula, which is the four characteristics- Clear, Concise, Compelling, and credible.

i>                Clear- Your writing must be understood by everyone. Using small words, short sentences, bullet points, and headers can make your writing clear.  

ii>              Concise- This is conveying information in the fewest possible words.

iii>             Compelling- The copy must be interesting for your audiences to read.

iv>             Credible- Your copy should be credible. Use statistics to prove your point. You can use a reputable source when using a quote, figure or fact.

 

2.      The 4 U’s of copywriting- The 4 U’s formula is ready-made for social media content. The element of urgency specifically fit well with the fast-changing trend of social media and the small amount of text. By using these 4 U’s you can be a master of social media marketing-

i>                Useful- Provide useful content to audiences.

ii>              Urgent- Understand the sense of urgency.

iii>             Unique- Identify your idea that the main benefit is somehow unique.

iv>             Ultra-specific- Be ultra-specific of all of the above.

 

 

3.      The PAS formula- PAS stands for “Problem- Agitate- Solve” is not only simple but also extremely effective.

i>                Problem- Identify a problem

ii>              Agitate- Understand and relate the problem that your target audience is facing in relation to your product and services.

iii>             Solve- Find a unique solution.

 

 

4.      AIDA formula- AIDA stands for “Attention- Interest- Desire- Action” and is one of the most standard copywriting formulas for any type of marketing copy. It is used in direct mail, marketing pages, landing pages, television and radio, and more.

i>                Attention- Grab the audience’s attention.

ii>              Interest- Create the point of interest for them to read and continue.

iii>             Desire- Describe the benefits of your products and services, and show them proof.

iv>             Action- Finish with a call to action.

 

 

5.      Before and After Bridge- Before: A black picture, After: The promised land, and Bridge: The yellow brick road.

i>                Before- You need to explain to readers how relevant pain points are affecting their current situation.

ii>              After- You need to explain how their world would be if these problems do not exist.

iii>             Bridge- On this stage provide a solution to help readers move from before to after.

 

 

6.      Star- Story- Solution- You should tell your story and introduce your star at the same time. Here your star can be anything Ex.- product, service, or anything. This is being something like a movie story.

i>                Star- The main character of the story (product or service).

ii>              Story- The story of the star.

iii>             Solution- An explanation about the star, and how the star wins in the end.

 

7.      The ACCA formula- ACCA stands for Awareness- Comprehension- Conviction- Action.

i>                Awareness- The present problem/situation.

ii>              Comprehension- Determine a picture to the audience of how this problem can affect them and how you can solve it.

iii>             Conviction- Create a convincing desire in your audience to use your solution.

iv>             Action- Ask for response.
